Know of a problem before it is a problem .
Continuous event logging enables your system to remain heathly throughout the year.

PoziMon

PoziMon is a remote PC event logging sytem that allows an administrator to "keep an eye" on the health of a PC. PoziMon stands for POSItive MONitoring.

Most serious problems that occur on a modern PC do not happen instantaneously, they normally progress over a period of time, first in a small way but then getting    more serious as time goes on. The normal user is usually unaware of a pending problem until it becomes serious and by that time it is usually a case of just fire fighting.  Take for instance a hard disk failure. Normally your Microsoft Operating System knows there is a problem before the user gets to the stage of noticing that

files are missing or that data is corrupted. This information is placed into the Event Log, but who looks at the event log, and even if you so, and you understand the gobbledygook information that is displayed there, or separate the important from the unimportant. This is where PoziMon comes in. PoziMon collects any error information generated by the operating system and downloads this to an OOH IT server via the Internet. Obviously this transfer of data can only take place when the PC is

connected to the internet, but PoziMon will keep a record of any problems that have occurred while a connection is not possible and the next time the internet is accessed the information will be sent. The resulting data will be monitored at OOH IT. Many alerts will probably be cleared because they are trivial and not important, some will indicate that a configuration problem exists that will be sorted during the next scheduled visit. We will also be able to provide an early warning of serious hardware problems such  as when a hard disk starts to give problems and allow the PC owner the opportunity to backup data and handle what can be quite a traumatic situation.
